In patients showing epilation of the scalp, it was extremely rare to find any demonstrable effect on the hair of the eyelashes, as is the case here. The differentiation of effect on the hair of the trunk and axilla and arm is presumably due to the shielding afforded by overlying tissues in the latter two positions.
