Gokoku Shrine Wall. Object: To show the effect of the intense rays of the explosion. The squared areas on the top of the wall has columns such as the one shown at the bottom right. The darkened areas around the squares are due to shadow effect. The top of the lower wall was black due to age. The regularly spaced whitened spots on it are where the rays which passed between the columns (which rested on the higher wall) fell.
